• Getting the Right Coffee Accessories

Today, coffee stand as one of the most popular drinks in the entire world, alongside beer, wine, and tea, and around the world, there is a strong market for not only coffee itself, but also for coffee accessories, ranging from paper cups to lids to wholesale paper coffee cups and more. Often, the drinkers of coffee are business professionals who need a convenient and disposable way to carry their drink while commuting, and these containers should be leak-proof and should have lids or other features to both prevent spills and to keep the coffee hot inside. Many coffee vendors big and small may offer such coffee accessories, and these accessories can also be useful for those who brew coffee at home, and most of all, employees at a company may share costs and responsibility of buying coffee accessories from wooden coffee stirrers to sugar and cream packets for the coffee machine in the break room, and this can be a convenient way for any office worker to get their coffee fix for the day.

    Coffee as an Industry

Coffee accessories, as well as coffee grounds and bags of coffee beans, have grown to become an enormous market worldwide, and the United States in particular is a huge market and consumer for these goods. In the United States alone, the coffee market has a retail value of nearly $48 billion, and specialty coffee, in fact, makes up 55% of the market share. What is more, the United States is an enthusiastic importer of this drink: in 2014, for example, some 27.5 million bags of coffee beans were brought into the country, and this makes it the world’s single largest consumer of un-roasted coffee beans and products. And while large coffee retailers are popular, many smaller, independent retailers are also proving their worth: independent coffee makers sell 31% of all espresso-based drinks, and they also offer regular brewed coffee for those who want it.

    Drinking the Coffee

Many Americans regularly drink coffee; in fact, about 50% of the population, or around 150 million people, drink espresso, cappuccino, latte, or iced coffees, and recent statistics have shown that on average, an American coffee drinker will consume 1.64 cups of this drink per day. Meanwhile, another 30% of the population drinks coffee on occasion, meaning that those who never drink coffee at all are a minority. There are health benefits to consuming this drink. A recent study showed that consuming three to five coffee cups per day may prevent the cognitive decline that is associated with aging, and this can lead to a 65% decrease in a person’s chances of developing Alzheimer’s or similar cases of dementia. Often, office workers rely on coffee and its caffeine content to stimulate their brains and energize them for a day at work, and this is why coffee accessories like paper cups and lids are popular; lots of employees want a quick, convenient coffee fix on their commute, whether by taxi, subway, or even on foot, and having a sealed coffee container is the perfect solution.

At the office, many employees are likely to be coffee drinkers, and they may want more than just their morning drink to keep them energized, or they may even just want a leisurely drink, and don’t need the caffeine in particular. In this case, the most helpful setup may be to share the cost of a coffee maker in the building’s break room, and anyone who finds an empty pot can take it upon themselves to refill it so that everyone can get a fresh cup whenever they want one. Buying coffee bean bags or grounds, as well as accessories like paper cups, stirrers, and sugar and cream packets, can be a responsibility on rotation so that everyone shares the expense. This also means that employees should clean up their own messes like loose coffee grounds or sugar grains to maintain a clean space for everyone to enjoy. After all, it has been found that about 65% of coffee drinkers prefer to add sugar or cream to their drink, so this means keeping the coffee maker and its table clear of any messes. And for the 33% who prefer their coffee black, they can simply pour and drink.
