Elanco garnered approval for Lubabegron (marketed as Experior) in 2018. The Lubabegron compound increases cattle growth performance while decreasing nitrogen produced per pound of carcass weight.
A highlight of this year’s efforts was the Kansas ProStart Invitational held in Wichita March 3-4. This statewide culinary competition challenged high school teams to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting.
The WSU team’s research, published in the Journal of Power Sources, showed that a protective barrier made of corn protein, in combination with a commonly used plastic, significantly improved the performance of a button-sized lithium-sulfur battery.
